The user session timeout can also be configured in the system settings. This is done in the Advanced settings.
For example, my system settings :

In the Preferremal Speficiation list, I can select

Standard user session

to go into the settings.
Then there is a settings for the after of the session too, that is the time that the system will wait until it will logout.
This is on the General tab.
To disable it completely just select not check the option Automatic logoff.

Sorry, this review is a bit longer than usual! But I had to do it as a user of the program! I have to warn you, AutoLock was rather complex to configure at first. It took a number of hours to figure out how to do what I was looking for. Once I did, everything else went smoothly and it worked exactly as intended for me!

The 10-second countdown timer I was looking for was actually a powerful and essential feature. Whenever I wanted to log out the current user and shut down AutoLock completely, I had to open up the Settings window and run a custom command. This meant that I had to dedicate a small window for that task (I used my left monitor, so I placed the settings window in the right-hand side) and had to be constantly switching back and forth between it and the programs I was using. I was also unable to work on the current program, as I would lose my changes if I wasn’t available when the timer fired.

AutoLock provides you with a solution to this conundrum. Once you set the countdown time, you can’set-up’ a custom command within the Settings window. This command does not have to be run using the AutoLock Settings window,

If you are logged on, it displays the remaining time before the scheduled logout.
