* Photoshop is a _state of mind_. The images that come out of it are “photoshopped” simply because the creator has been trained to use the program in a certain way.
Figure 1-1 shows the basic interface. The left side contains many tabs. They contain the tools you need to edit your images and provide access to Photoshop’s tools for creating art. The right side contains the image and the menu bar that sits above the workspace.

You can choose from three panes to view your image. The one on the left contains a toolbar along the top with the tools you’ll need. Below it is a ruler to move your image around the canvas. You can then drag tools from the bar into the image and apply them to one or more layers, as explained in the next section.
## LAYERS
Photoshop has four types of layers:
• **Regular** These are the image’s background color, which you can change any way you want.
• **Paint** This contains your brush strokes, text, and any other drawing and sketching tools you use.
• **Layer Mask** This is an invisible layer that is placed on top of the other layers to protect them from certain operations.
• **Smart Object** This is a way of keeping a photo layer locked together with the rest of the layers.
New to Photoshop in version CS6 is the ability to create a **histogram**. This is a tool that helps you determine the ranges of light and dark, which is useful when you’re creating, redoing, or converting an image.

As someone who primarily uses Photoshop, I was very excited to learn that Adobe announced the new Photoshop CC 2017. Why? Well, the software is the industry standard for digital artists and designers, a fact which is known to most. It’s a great tool that was rebranded to Photoshop with the new Creative Cloud subscription model.
But I also really enjoyed the new version of Photoshop Elements, Photoshop Touch, that Adobe announced along with the new software. Unlike Photoshop CC, Photoshop Elements is a free, standalone app (no subscription required). It does, however, require Adobe’s Creative Cloud account to be registered for the software.

To download Photoshop Elements 12, it’s easy. Just open the software site in your browser, enter your email address and accept the terms and conditions. Create your Adobe ID if you don’t have one already.
Step 1. Create Your Creative Cloud Account If you don’t have an Adobe account yet, head to the link here and follow the on-screen prompts to create your account. When you’re finished, you can log in to your new account from any Adobe Creative Cloud application, website, or mobile app.
Step 2. After You Create Your Adobe ID, Open Photoshop Elements and Sign in to Your Adobe ID
In the menu bar, click File > Open. In the file dialog box, navigate to where you want to save your file and select it. The file will automatically open in the app. If you do not see the file open in the list, you may need to make sure the app is running. For example, you can press Cmd + Alt + L on your keyboard to get to a list of open applications and then search for Adobe Photoshop Elements.
Step 3. Create A New Document or Open An Existing Document
Photoshop Elements provides a lot of basic tools to get your work done, but there are a few settings that can make things easier if you want to do more advanced work.

A Memorable Year of Innovation
During 2017, the RapidWIT’s own team added a few new projects to the division’s practice. To start the year, we introduced our on-demand digital support service. For over fifteen years, RapidWIT has offered a variety of local and long-distance dispute resolution support for business and legal situations. These services have evolved over time but we have always focused on the needs of our clients and the communication of those needs.
With the continued growth of the legal technology industry, we took on a challenge to design and develop a comprehensive suite of services specifically designed for law firms and legal professionals that could be subscribed to on-demand.
Along with this project, we added a new online tax filing system with a mobile interface called Taxifile. The Taxifile service allows clients to prepare, file and pay their federal and state taxes online. Additionally, this service allows all of the relevant forms to be filed, not just from a legal professional, but from any type of professional.
At the end of the year, we added to our services by adding an entire staff of attorneys. The addition of an entire staff allows the division to now handle more of the firm’s own cases. We also added more webinars and tutorials to our web site, the C-Suite: A Roadmap for Attorneys.
We had the chance to work with a number of clients, both large and small, and also worked on a variety of projects including investments, corporate, immigration, oil and gas, and general practice. We are here to serve our clients and will do everything we can to make the RapidWIT experience the best it can be. 1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates generally to a heat recovery unit, and more particularly to a heat recovery unit for use in a combination of a direct expansion type air conditioner and a heat pump.
2. Description of the Prior Art
A conventional heat recovery unit comprises a heat exchanger, an expansion valve and a flow reversing valve. The heat exchanger is installed in the expansion valve and is connected to the expansion valve with a flexible pipe. The flow reversing valve is connected to the pipe with another flexible pipe. When the unit is energized, the heat exchanger is cooled by the coolant and heat is recovered.
However, the expansion valve has an integrated heat exchanger so that the heat recovery unit cannot be operated as a direct expansion type air conditioner. Further, there is a problem in heat recovery unit because a coolant is released to the atmosphere through the expansion valve or the pipes, although it is impossible to exchange heat between the coolant and an external air.
In view of the foregoing problems, it is a primary object of the present invention to provide a heat recovery unit for use in a combination of a direct expansion type air conditioner and a heat pump.
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a heat recovery unit for a combination of a heat pump and a direct expansion type air conditioner. The heat recovery unit includes a first heat exchanger for a refrigerant in the direct expansion type air conditioner, a first expansion valve connected to the first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, which is provided to exchange heat between the first heat exchanger and a coolant in the heat pump, and a second expansion valve connected to the second heat exchanger. The first and second expansion valves have means for controlling a discharge flow rate of the coolant of one or the other of the first and second expansion valves in accordance with a pressure difference, which is generated between an inlet and an outlet of the first expansion valve.
In this construction, it is possible to control the discharge flow rate of the coolant of one or the other of the first and second expansion valves in accordance with the pressure difference, which is generated between the inlet and the outlet of the first expansion valve.
