Getting Started With Photoshop Elements
If you’re new to Photoshop Elements, you’ll want to start by downloading the free version from this page. After you’ve downloaded the software, you’ll be able to use it.
Your first task in Photoshop Elements will be to create a new document. You’ll do this using the New Document option. The New Document dialog is shown below.
You can choose to create a new blank document or open an existing document.
On this dialog, you have a choice of adding or replacing content.
To create a new image, you can either add content to the document or replace content with your own image. If you select Replace, Photoshop Elements will ask you what image you’d like to use to replace your content.
If you’d like, you can adjust the size and position of the content before replacing it.

I tried aligning the text with text-align:center; and then setting the left and right padding to zero, and this works fine, except that the right padding puts a small space between the edge of the content div and the text.
I tried working around this by setting the right padding to one the size of the div, but then the text wraps onto a second line (unwanted).
